Arts Society Heritage Volunteers are committed non-specialist volunteers who work under the guidance of curators and other professionals to help conserve our heritage. They undertake projects for museums, National Trust properties, historic houses, libraries and gardens, at which they give their time to care for collections, record documents and act as guides and stewards. Training as necessary is provided by the host organisation.
Currently we have Heritage Volunteers from our Group working as book conservators in the libraries at the Royal Academy, the Reform Club and Marylebone Cricket Club, as a Room Guide at Sambourne House and in the garden at Emery Walker House.
Many other opportunities for volunteering are available at a variety of institutions and details of these, which will be supplied only to members, can be obtained from: volunteer.tascc@gmail.com
